Pictures on website are taken from just the right angle to make this look like a great place to go.... located right off the hwy it is loud. There are some cabins that do not even face the lake. The cabin we rented was small and very dated. Rust stains ran down the walls of the shower, the "kitchen" was about 1.5 feet of counter space and a VERY small sink with a stove that had not been cleaned in a LONG time. The vacume they gave us did not work. Also we had over their limit of people staying with us, and they wanted to charge us $25 dollars extra per night for a 2 year old to be an extra person. When we got there with our boats they would not let us put our boats in the water without renting a boat lift for $15 dollars a night. They nickle and dime you to death and they have no problem doing it. Next time we rent a cabin it will be somewhere else, the owners were crabby and not very helpful. Also if you need ice, get it before you go there, they charge way too much for it. Also the lake was high when we were there so there was no beach to go on, the swingset was in the water and there was 1 fire pit so close to the water that we did not want to use it.

The people are friendly, the accommodation are reasonable and you're RIGHT on the lake. I never noticed any road noise and didn't get any feeling of being nickled and dimed at all. We're staying again this year.
We've been working with the Lake Reno Resort for years, and we recently rented a pontoon from its great new owners. They were completely flexible on timing and were accommodating for our schedules. They're top notch!
